astrology and herbalism with Daughter of Wands

What Is Astro-Herbalism?

Astro-Herbalist Kathleen Callahan, also known as Daughter of Wands, joins Wild Wonder Podcast host Kristen Llorca to discover what makes poisonous plants so dang lovable, looking to the stars to find our earthly plant allies, and the importance of holding space for ourselves. As Kathleen says, “don’t hustle through healing”.

Kathleen (she/they) is a lifelong student and educator of the plant kingdom and the planets, who focuses on psycho-spiritual embodiment in her work. Centered around a holistic viewpoint that encompasses the complexity and multidimensionality of each person, she weaves astrology and plant medicine mostly through clinical flower essence work, and has a special affinity for educating on and working with the often “misunderstood” poisonous, wayside, and invasive plants, as a way for healing the misunderstood or unaccepted parts of the self. Kathleen is also a trained reiki and IET practitioner, and tarot reader. Find Kathleen at www.daughterofwands.com where you can request a one-on-one consultation, join her Flower Essence subscription, or shop and learn about different plant allies.

Wild Wonder Bookclub launched this month. Focusing on translated novels and books by authors from marginalized communities, we’ll take a look away from the dominant narrative, uplift differing voices, and take a deep look at our own psychologies and how we connect to each other – all over a live coffee chat!
