Introducing Maria Burt, the talented kids yoga teacher of our Friday classes at Rambam Day School. A Miami native, Maria is both an early childhood teacher at Plymouth Preschool in Coconut Grove and a highly accomplished dance artist and educator.

She brings a rich background in movement, creativity, and child development to her work with young learners. A graduate of the University of Florida/New World School of the Arts, Maria has trained and performed with some of South Florida’s most respected dance companies and choreographers, cultivating an approach that is both expressive and engaging.

Maria has also completed kids yoga training with our lead teacher, Kristen Llorca, and is currently adding to her toolbox by participating in Kristen’s online training, Teaching Kids Yoga. Thereby, blending the foundations of children’s yoga with her extensive experience in movement education. We are thrilled for Rambam students to learn, move, and grow with such a talented, nurturing, and inspiring teacher each Friday.
